Founderr, at founderr.io, is a product of RIKHATH LLC, a Texas company. Its tagline is one founder, zero employees, full company, and it means it: the audience on its FAQ is solo founders, indie hackers and bootstrappers. Don't confuse it with products called FounderOS.
Founderr and Nautis agree on one thing that many AI tools don't. An agent shouldn't send, spend or change anything without a person saying yes. Beyond that, one is built around a product you ship and the other around a company you run, and the sections below follow that split.
Eight agents mapped to Nautis
Founderr's page on its agents lists eight named roles. The clearest way to compare the products is to set each one against whatever Nautis offers for the same work.
| Founderr agent | What it does | Closest thing in Nautis |
|---|---|---|
| Casey, Chief of Staff | Builds the morning brief from recorded data, prioritises tasks, coordinates the others | Morning briefing from the Chief of Staff, with Do it actions |
| Maya, CMO | Content, SEO, social drafts, Reddit research, community work for approval | GTM planner and Social Calendar. No agent in that seat |
| Alex, SDR | Founder-reported pipeline, touch history, cold-email drafts for approval | Leads CRM, MailBox, routines. Limited on Launch |
| Riley, Support Lead | Logs and triages issues you report, drafts replies, builds KB articles | No support module listed |
| Jordan, CFO | Tracks recorded revenue, expenses and runway, prepares board-ready snapshots | Startup Health, financial planner, invoices, expenses, and the Anchor advisor |
| Avery, Data Analyst | Recorded KPIs, cohorts, funnels and anomalies, growth reports | KPI tasks on boards and Startup Health charts. No cohort tool listed |
| Sam, CTO | Security scans, uptime, repository activity, fixes queued as pull requests | No equivalent. GitHub can connect through the integration catalog |
| Morgan, Product Manager | Prioritises feature requests, tracks competitors, writes specs | No dedicated role. Task boards and advisors can help |
Read the table from the other side and Nautis has things no agent on that list claims: investor search, a fundraising CRM, a data room, a cap table on the larger plans, e-signature, employee records, recruiting and team chat. We searched Founderr's product pages for fundraising tools and found only a line on its about page reading "Investors across 114 countries", with no module described.
The security scanner is Founderr's clearest strength
Nautis has nothing comparable. Founderr scans your live app for injection, authentication, secrets, TLS and configuration flaws, and its llms.txt says this covers 31 modules with a prioritised fix list. Before you create an account, a public URL report runs twelve checks on a page you own.
We like how it reports. A check that couldn't run is shown beside those that did, with the reason, and a report with a gap reads "incomplete" rather than "clear". Domain expiry, TLS certificates, uptime every five minutes and Core Web Vitals sit alongside it, most with nothing to connect. Sam can open a pull request on a new branch once you approve a fix, and the merge stays with you.
A solo builder who shipped with AI tools and has never had a security review should try this whatever else they buy. Scans use credits, starting at 5, and they run on every plan. A scanner doesn't replace a professional review for a product holding sensitive data.
What it costs as of October 2026
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing, per month | Main limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Founderr at $0 | $0 | $0 | 20 agent chats a day shared across all eight, one work cycle a day, Monday brief |
| Founderr Pro | $49 | $39 | 150 chats a day, cycles every 4 hours, daily brief and end-of-day summary |
| Founderr Team | $99 | $79 | 400 chats a day, team seats as they roll out, onboarding session |
| Founderr Enterprise | Custom | Custom | By agreement |
| Nautis Launch | $49 | About $41 | 1,000 AI credits, 5 members |
| Nautis Voyage | $99 | $82.50 | 2,000 AI credits, 10 members |
| Nautis Fleet | $129 | $107.50 | 2,600 AI credits, 25 members |
Monthly prices match exactly at the first two paid tiers, which makes the choice cleaner: for the same $49 you are choosing between agents and modules. Founderr's real advantage on price is the $0 tier, which has no time limit and needs no card. Nautis has no free tier, only a 14-day trial.
Two details to check. Founderr's pricing page shows annual prices with an upgrade button, while its FAQ says paid plans go on sale at the public launch and its llms.txt says that launch happened in August 2026, so confirm you can buy what you want today. Its Team plan says seats arrive as they roll out, so don't count on several logins yet. Nautis has 5 to 25 members available now.
How the approval models compare
Both have one queue. In Founderr, outbound work and changes enter an approval queue showing the proposing agent, the draft and the recipient, and the outcome goes to a work log. It's specific about the edge: approved outreach, customer replies and fix pull requests execute today, while payments and infrastructure changes stay with the founder. Scheduled work such as scans and the morning brief only reads and reports.
Nautis has the same shape with more settings. Owners and admins set each capability to Ask every time or Run without asking. The second is logged, and a 10-minute undo applies where supported. No setting removes the prompt on deletes. Founderr's tools page also mentions configurable autonomy, but its FAQ says consequential actions always wait.
Founderr does something extra that we haven't seen in the Nautis guides. In chat, task ids and dollar and percent figures are checked against your records, and an unsupported figure gets a visible note under the reply. Given how often models state wrong numbers with confidence, that's a good idea. Our guide to human-in-the-loop agents covers why these checks matter.
A week for one builder, and a year later
Think of a founder building a small invoicing app alone after her day job. She has 60 users, a GitHub repo and no idea if her auth is sound.
On Founderr's $0 tier, she runs a scan, reads the ranked findings, approves a fix pull request, and gets a brief on Mondays through Telegram. She tells Casey about her product, and Maya drafts Reddit research for approval. From her editor, nine MCP tools let her ask about uptime or findings. For someone in her position, it's hard to argue with the price or the fit.
A year later she has 900 users, two contractors and an accelerator asking for her cap table. Now she needs shared records with permissions, invoices to chase, pay cycles to track, and investor conversations with stages and notes. Founderr's agents can track what she records, but the pages we read don't describe those as modules. That's the point at which a look at Nautis makes sense, and she could keep scanning in Founderr.
Other practical differences
- Where the brief reaches you. Founderr delivers through Telegram today, and says WhatsApp depends on an approved message template. Nautis shows the briefing in the app, with a spoken Listen option, and has WhatsApp on enabled workspaces only.
- What data agents see. Founderr is careful to say its pipeline and finance figures are founder-reported. Nautis is mostly the same for finance, with monthly check-ins, though MailBox and calendar connect directly.
- Connections. Founderr lists seven live connections and says the list is short because it's complete. Nautis has a catalog of 1,000+ apps, where connecting one and enabling it for agents are two separate steps.
- Models. Founderr names Gemini 3.7 Flash on Vertex for its agents. Nautis lets you pick a provider and model in AI Model Settings, such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini.
- Editor access. Both offer MCP. Founderr's nine tools are aimed at developers and read-only for approvals, while Nautis connects to Claude and ChatGPT across records, with writes optional.
- Extra tools. Founderr adds LaunchPad, RedditPilot and CommunityBlitz for distribution, and an app directory called Explore.
Where Nautis is the weaker pick
If you're one person with a product and no investors, Nautis is more than you need and more than you'd pay. It has no role-based agents working in the background every four hours, and it doesn't scan your code. Its guides don't cover opening a pull request, though GitHub can connect through the catalog. Its briefing skips anything with no data, so a solo builder with an empty workspace would get little from it at first. It launched publicly in July 2026, and Founderr's llms.txt gives August 2026 for its own launch, so expect few independent reviews of either.
Nautis earns its price when more than one person or one function needs coordinating. See the solo founder page for an honest view of what the Launch plan gives you alone, and the bootstrapped startup page if you never plan to raise.
Picking one
- Founderr if you're building alone, shipping code, worried about security, or not ready to pay anything yet.
- Nautis if you're raising, employing or contracting people, sending invoices, or need several people to see the same records.
- Both if you have a live app and a growing company. They do different work. Keep the task list in one of them so you don't track it twice.
FAQ
How much does Founderr cost?
October 2026 prices start with a $0 tier of 20 agent chats a day. Pro is $49 a month, or $39 a month billed annually. Team is $99 a month, or $79 a month billed annually. Enterprise is custom. Prices are per plan, with no per-seat charge mentioned. Its FAQ says paid plans go on sale at the public launch, while its pricing page shows upgrade buttons, so check what you can buy today.
Who is each one for in Nautis vs Founderr?
Founderr gives one founder eight role-based AI agents plus a security scanner and uptime checks for a live app. Nautis gives a startup team modules for fundraising, finance, sales and HR with an AI Chief of Staff on top. Both hold consequential actions for approval.
Does Nautis have a security scanner?
No. Nautis doesn't scan your app or code. It stores secrets in a Credentials Vault and can connect GitHub through its integration catalog, but a tool such as Founderr's scanner is the closer fit for checking a live product.
Can Founderr agents act without approval?
Its FAQ says consequential actions, such as sending email, opening a pull request or spending money, wait in an approval queue. Scheduled work like scans and briefs only reads and reports. It also says payments and infrastructure changes remain founder-executed.
Does Founderr help with fundraising?
We didn't find a fundraising module on the product pages we read in October 2026. Its finance agent can prepare board-ready snapshots from recorded numbers. Nautis has an investor directory, a fundraising CRM, readiness scoring and data rooms for that work.
