The guides new founders read first.
- Sign upCreates a brand-new Nautis account along with your first organization, so you can start working on your startup right away. After you enter your details, we send a 6-digit code to your email to confirm it's really you.
- Finish onboardingWalks you through the three quick steps Nautis needs the first time you sign in: naming your organization, picking your role, and completing your profile. After this, you land on your startup profile ready to start working.
- Chief of StaffYour daily Founder Briefing — what changed, what's blocked, and what needs you today. Every morning, Nautis scans your whole workspace (tasks, pipeline, runway, meetings, approvals, invoices, wellbeing signals, and more), ranks what matters most, and presents it as one prioritized list with a one-sentence headline. It's also home to the Approval Center, where you review any action your AI agents want to take, and the Autonomy settings that decide what agents may do without asking.
- Members, roles, and permissionsThis is where you invite teammates into your organization, see who's already in (and who has a pending invite), and decide what each person is allowed to do. Roles in Nautis are flexible: you start with a set of ready-made roles like HR, Finance, Marketing, and Member, and you can create your own with a fine-grained checkbox grid covering every module in the app.
- Fundraising CRMThe Fundraising CRM is your dedicated pipeline for raising money. You create a round for each fundraise (Seed, Series A, bridge), add investors as deals, and move them through stages from first contact to committed capital. Each deal keeps notes, meetings, comments, files, and a full activity log in one place.
- Pitch Deck AnalyzerUpload your investor pitch deck as a PDF and Nautis runs an AI review across every slide. You get a readiness score, slide-by-slide feedback, storytelling and clarity notes, suggested investor questions, and a tracked link you can share with VCs.
Common questions
Quick answers. Each links to its full guide.
I didn't get the verification email. What do I do?
Check your spam or junk folder first. If it's not there, wait for the 60-second countdown and click Resend code.
I accidentally clicked the wrong role tile. Can I change it later?
Yes — use the Previous button before clicking Next step. Once you finish onboarding, you can change your designation from your profile settings.
Where does the briefing get its information?
From across your workspace: task boards, leads pipeline, today's meetings, runway from Startup Health, pending agent approvals, overdue invoices, burnout check-ins, fundraising signals, meeting action items, decision reviews, and more. Sources that have no data are simply skipped.
What's the difference between Owner and Admin?
The Owner is the person who created the organization (or who ownership was transferred to). An Admin can do almost everything the Owner can — invite, remove, edit roles, manage billing — but only the Owner can delete the organization and only the Owner has the locked-in Super Admin role.
What's the difference between a round and a deal?
A round is the fundraise itself (for example, your Series A). A deal is one investor inside that round. One round usually has many deals.
How long does the AI analysis take?
Usually one to three minutes, depending on the slide count and current load. Keep the upload dialog open until you're redirected.
