FAQ
Pitch Deck Analyzer questions
How long does the AI analysis take?
Usually one to three minutes, depending on the slide count and current load. Keep the upload dialog open until you're redirected.
Why does the score feel harsh?
The AI grades against what late-stage investors typically expect. Pre-revenue decks usually score lower than post-revenue ones — that's normal. Look at Recommendations for the specific gaps and fix those first.
What file formats are supported?
PDF only, up to 50 MB. Export from Keynote, PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Pitch as PDF and upload.
Can I edit the deck inside Nautis?
No. The analyzer reads your PDF and gives feedback. You make changes in your slides tool (Keynote, Google Slides, etc.), then re-upload.
Will investors see the AI score?
Only if you toggle Show readiness score on the share link. By default it's off.
Can I track who has viewed my deck?
Yes. Open the share dialog, go to Manage, and you'll see per-link sessions, total time, average slides watched, and last viewed time.
What if my deck has confidential numbers?
Mark the link Private, add a strong passcode, set a short expiration, turn off Allow download, and add a Watermark with the recipient's name. Revoke the link from Manage when you're done.
Does the AI see my deck content?
Yes — it processes the slides to score them. Decks are stored in your org's encrypted storage and only members with permission can view them.
Can I share a deck without granting Nautis access?
Yes. The tracked share link works for anyone with the URL — they don't need a Nautis account.
