Nautis vs Founder LC for Indian founders

Founder LC handles incorporation, filings and legal work for Indian companies, with CAs and lawyers. Nautis runs daily operations. They do different jobs.

Summarise

Founder LC, at founderlc.ai, is a brand of Founder LC Private Limited in Noida, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Startup Movers Private Limited. It calls itself the operating system for founders. Startup Movers has run a startup services firm since 2014, and Founder LC is its technology layer, described as "Rolling Out".

We've kept this short for a plain reason. The services are well described, but the software is in early access, and no prices appear on the pages we read on October 31, 2026. So we can compare the jobs, and we can't say much about using the dashboard.

Different jobs, so ask which one is urgent

If you need to register a company, file GST or get an ESOP pool created properly, that's Founder LC's territory, and Nautis doesn't do it at all. Nautis is no substitute for a chartered accountant, a company secretary or a lawyer, and an Indian founder who skips those to save money usually pays for it later through penalties or messy diligence.

If your filings are already handled and the problem is keeping track of investors, tasks, leads and runway, that's where Nautis for Indian startups applies. Founder LC says it's building toward having business systems sit with compliance and finance data, but it describes that as a direction for later.

What people do that software can't

Founder LC's central claim is that AI does the repetitive 80% and qualified professionals make the judgment calls, with every filing reviewed and signed off by a CA, CS or lawyer. Its contact page says services run across India. It lists named professionals on its about page, including people who lead GST, direct taxation and secretarial work.

That matters more than any feature table. When a notice arrives, or a foreign investor needs FEMA paperwork, you want a named person who has dealt with it before. Nautis can tell you a filing task is overdue if you've put it on a board, and its advisors can explain a term, but none of that carries a professional's signature. By the company's own count it has served 5,000+ startups since 2014 and has 150+ professionals.

What its pages don't cover yet

  • Prices. No fees appear on the pages we read. Ask for a written quote covering your entity and the scope of work.
  • Early access terms. You register interest and they say they'll reach out when your company is invited. No timeline is stated.
  • How the dashboard looks in use. The platform page describes a document vault, live filing status, reuse of data and deadline alerts. We haven't seen it.
  • Which services need the platform. The pages don't separate what's available now through the team from what will arrive through the software.
  • Integrations. None are listed on the pages we read.

What Nautis would cost beside it

Indian founders pay Nautis in rupees: ₹3,999, ₹8,999 or ₹11,999 a month, as of October 2026, with a 14-day trial. Paying yearly saves two months. See pricing. It's an operating cost alongside your compliance costs, and doesn't replace them. Its WhatsApp assistant takes English, Hindi and Hinglish, but isn't available on every workspace yet.

Nautis is also young, with a public launch in July 2026, whereas Founder LC's parent has over a decade of client work behind it. A cautious founder should weigh that.

How Indian founders might decide

  • Before incorporation or the first filings: talk to Founder LC, or to a CA and CS you trust. You can reach Founder LC by form, phone or WhatsApp, Monday to Saturday.
  • Already have a good CA: there may be no need to change. Keep them, and consider Nautis only for the operating work.
  • Preparing to raise: you may want both kinds of help. Professionals for valuation, FEMA and documents, and a tool like Nautis to manage the investor pipeline and data room.
  • Only need one thing this month: pick the one that protects you from a legal deadline.

FAQ

Is Founder LC a software product or a services firm?

Both, by its own description. Startup Movers provides CAs, CSs and lawyers, and Founder LC is the technology layer over that work. The platform is described as rolling out through early access as of October 2026.

How much does Founder LC cost?

Prices weren't published on the pages we read in October 2026. You request a callback through its contact page, by phone or on WhatsApp, and should ask for a written quote for your specific company and services.

In Nautis vs Founder LC, can Nautis handle GST or ROC filings?

No. Nautis has no bookkeeping, tax filing or statutory filing function. You can track tasks and store documents there, but you still need a CA, a CS or a firm such as Founder LC for the filings.

Can I use Founder LC and Nautis together?

Yes, since they do different work and we saw nothing that conflicts. Founder LC would handle registrations, filings and legal documents, while Nautis would handle daily operations, investors and team records. No integration between them is listed.
