Nautis vs FounderAI: a short read of what's published

FounderAI publishes a short landing page and an app licence. Here is what those pages state, what they leave out, and how that compares with Nautis.

Summarise

This page is about Founder AI at founderaiapp.com, whose footer says it was made in Canada. It isn't FoundrAI at foundrai.com, and it isn't FounderOS AI. Those are separate products with separate sites.

We read its homepage, its end user licence agreement, its privacy policy and its App Store listing, FounderAI Pro, in October 2026. Together they give a short description, a short feature list and prices, and not much about how the product works day to day. That is why this page is short.

What the homepage says, and doesn't

The homepage is brief. It promises an AI co-founder that never sleeps, around-the-clock strategic support, and data-driven decisions from AI-powered market insights. Buttons read Get Co-Founder and Get Premium Access.

Nautis vs FounderAI on what you can check

For comparison, Nautis publishes plans and limits: Launch costs $49 a month for five people and 1,000 AI credits, Voyage at $99 with 10 members and 2,000 credits, and Fleet at $129 with 25 members and 2,600 credits. You get 14 days to try it without a card, and there's no $0 tier. Its help guides describe each module step by step, so you can read how something works before you sign up.

That only shows Nautis writes more down. It says nothing about which product would help you more. A young product with a small site can still be useful, and Nautis has its own limits: it reached the public only in July 2026, outside reviews are rare, and it needs your data before its Chief of Staff briefing has much to say.

The price gap is the clearest fact we have

At the listed prices, a year of FounderAI costs $39.99, which is less than one month of the lowest Nautis plan. Yearly Nautis Launch is $490. For a founder who wants somebody to think out loud with and has no team yet, that difference is hard to ignore, and the risk of trying it is small.

The two also seem built for different moments. FounderAI's own language is about companionship and direction: never building alone, stopping the guesswork. Nautis asks you to move company records into one workspace: tasks, investors, invoices, runway. A solo founder with an idea and no records has little to move yet.

What the licence says about subscriptions

The licence is the most detailed document on the site, so it's worth a minute before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, and your Apple ID is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. It says a current subscription can't be cancelled during its active period, so cancelling stops the next charge. You must be at least 18 to use the app, and any unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

How to decide without a full picture

  • Try FounderAI if you want a low-cost AI sounding board and are happy to find out by using it. The licence says subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID, so check the renewal date when you start.
  • Look at Nautis if your problem is scattered company records, you have people to coordinate, or you are running a raise, since those are the jobs its guides document. See Nautis for solo founders for how the Launch plan fits one person.
  • Ask FounderAI directly if you need to know about team use, data handling for your company's documents, or export. Its licence lists contact@founderaiapp.com for support.

We will expand this page if FounderAI publishes more about what the product does.

Which should I pick in Nautis vs FounderAI?

Pick FounderAI if you want an inexpensive AI thinking partner on your phone. Pick Nautis if you need a shared workspace for tasks, fundraising and finance, with plans from $49 a month. We can't compare the quality of advice, since nobody has tested the two side by side.
