FAQ
Business Plans questions
Will the AI overwrite what I've already written?
Only with confirmation. Nautis pops a confirm dialog and snapshots the current draft to Version History before generating, so you can always roll back.
How do AI credits work?
Generate, Score My Plan, and AI Chat each draw a small number of credits from your organization's monthly balance. If credits run out, you can top up from the AI credits area.
Can I export only some sections?
Yes. Hide the sections you don't want included — the PDF, DOCX, and print views all skip hidden sections (and empty ones).
Can multiple people edit the same plan?
Yes. Add teammates under Shared Access. The most recent save wins, so coordinate on big edits and use comments for async review.
What does linking a financial project or GTM workspace do?
Linking unlocks the Import Data button inside matching sections — Financial Plan pulls from your financial project, GTM Strategy from the GTM workspace. Re-import as often as you like.
What's the difference between Draft, In Review, and Approved?
Draft is the working state — edit freely. In Review is ready for feedback but still editable. Approved locks the plan read-only so nothing changes by accident — only the owner or an admin can move it back to Draft.
Can I save manually instead of relying on auto-save?
Yes. Press Ctrl+S (Cmd+S on Mac) to force-save right away. Auto-save fires about a second after you stop typing.
What happens to comments and AI chats if I delete a section?
Permanently deleting a hidden section also removes its comments, version history, and AI chats. Hide instead of delete if you might need any of it later.
My collaborator can't see the plan — why?
Either their role doesn't have Business Plans permission, or they aren't on the Shared Access list. Add them in the edit dialog and double-check their role with your admin.
