FAQ

SWOT Analysis questions

Why only one SWOT per organization?

SWOT is a shared strategic artefact — one canvas keeps the whole team looking at the same picture. Use Snapshots to keep older versions for reference.

What does AI generation need to work?

A complete startup profile and a fully validated pitch deck attached to that profile. Hover the Generate button — Nautis lists every unmet requirement.

Will using AI delete what I've already added?

AI generation replaces every item in the canvas. Nautis warns you first and lets you cancel, but the safest path is to save a Snapshot before you generate.

Can I share a single quadrant outside the org?

Not directly. Use the print view to share a polished report, or copy items by hand. SWOT items live inside your organization's workspace.

What's the difference between SWOT and TOWS?

SWOT is the list of factors. TOWS is the strategy layer that pairs them together — for example, 'use Strength X to capture Opportunity Y'. The TOWS tab is where strategies live.

Can I prioritize items?

Yes — every item gets a Low / Medium / High priority chip when you create it, and the canvas surfaces high-priority items first.

How do I export the SWOT?

Use the print view to get a clean, board-ready PDF of the canvas with all four quadrants and snapshot metadata.

Can I run scenarios without losing today's view?

Yes. Save the current canvas as a Snapshot, then make scenario edits — you can restore the snapshot anytime.
