Nautis vs Vora IQ: pick by how far along you are

Vora IQ scores an idea, then builds a roadmap and a site. Nautis holds the records of a live startup. Here is how to tell which one fits your stage.

Summarise

This page compares Nautis with Vora IQ, the product at voraiq.com from Vora IQ, Inc., a Delaware corporation whose founders are Khalel Dumaz and Jeff Leung. Both products get filed under startup operating system, and both put AI in the middle. They begin at different points in a company's life.

Vora IQ starts with one typed sentence about an idea. Nautis starts with a website, a pitch deck or a short description, plus connected calendar and email, on the assumption that there is already a business to run. So the two overlap less than the label suggests, and many founders will find the choice makes itself. Everything about Vora IQ below comes from its own pages, read on October 31, 2026.

Do you have an idea or a company?

If you have an idea, Vora IQ is closer to the job. Its first output is an Idea Report Card scoring problem clarity, solution fit, market demand and revenue viability, and its pricing page lets you run two of those before paying or adding a card. Nothing in Nautis does that first step in the same way. Nautis has SWOT analysis, business plans and a startup journey tracker, but you bring the conviction yourself and then write it down.

If you have a company with customers, investors, staff or invoices, the balance moves. Those are records, and they need somewhere to live. Nautis is built around holding them, with an AI Chief of Staff reading across them each morning. A founder with a registered company and a seed conversation next month gets little from having an idea scored.

Named teammates or one Chief of Staff

Vora IQ's AI Team

Vora IQ gives each job a character: Pivot for strategy, Forge for product, Pulse for operations, Axis for technology, Echo for social, Apollo for growth, Ledger for finance, Insight for research, Shield for legal support and Scribe for documents. They share a Business Memory, so you explain your business once. Ledger has rules of its own. Vora IQ says it refuses to greenlight scaling when LTV:CAC is below 3:1 or runway is below six months, which is a useful habit for a first-time founder to have forced on them.

It also connects outward. An MCP connector lets Claude, Cursor or Lovable read six parts of your Business Memory, such as brand voice and customer segments, so your other tools write in the right tone.

Nautis's Chief of Staff

In Nautis, the Chief of Staff produces a briefing at 7:00 am in your organization's timezone, grouped as Priorities, Blockers, Approvals, Pipeline, Today and Runway. Each item opens the module it came from. An advisory board of specialists sits alongside it, with Anchor for finance and Keel for startup legal among them. Changes an agent wants to make go to the Approval Center unless an owner or admin has changed that capability to Run without asking.

The practical difference: Vora IQ's morning picks what you should work on from a roadmap. Nautis's morning reports what is happening across a company that already has moving parts, such as an overdue invoice or a meeting action item. With an empty workspace the Nautis briefing has little to say, because it skips sources with no data.

What does Vora IQ cost compared with Nautis?

Vora IQ costs less on its current sale, and it charges one flat price where Nautis has three plans. Figures here were current in October 2026. Vora IQ's page describes its prices as a holiday sale ending December 31, locked in for as long as you stay subscribed.

If you plan to talk to your AI team all day, the metering difference matters. Nautis blocks sending when credits run out, until they reset or you top up. Vora IQ says there are no message caps. For a solo founder on a tight budget, $200 for a year on the sale is much easier to justify than $490. Check that the sale is still running on the day you buy. Regional rates for Nautis are on its pricing page.

Two founders, two answers

These two founders are made up, but their situations are common.

The first founder is a physiotherapist with a plan for a home-exercise app for knee patients. She has no company, no co-founder and no code. She should start in Vora IQ. A scored report tells her in minutes what to doubt, a landing page shows whether any clinic or patient signs up, and the daily tasks stop her from wandering. Nautis would ask her to fill modules for a business that doesn't exist yet.

Two co-founders run a two-year-old logistics software company with 11 staff. They are opening a seed round in eight weeks, and a large customer's invoice is late. They should look at Nautis. Investor names and stages belong in the fundraising CRM, the readiness score shows the gaps against a seed benchmark, the data room's Analytics tab shows who opened what, and runway sits next to the late invoice in the morning briefing. Voyage covers ten members, so with 11 staff they would either keep one person out or move to Fleet.

The first founder may well outgrow the first stage within a year. Switching at that point is reasonable, since the two are not doing the same work.

Where Vora IQ is the stronger choice

  • The very first step. Scoring an idea, with a rescoring option whenever it changes, is its opening move. Nautis doesn't offer this.
  • A live page quickly. Vora IQ says Axis puts a site online in about five minutes with signups tracked. Nautis has no module that does this.
  • Simple pricing. One subscription, no credit counting, and a low cost of testing it.
  • Pointing at your own numbers. If you already use Stripe and QuickBooks, Ledger reads them live. In Nautis, Startup Health takes cash and burn figures that you log.
  • A guided tone for newcomers. Its about page lists education, guidance and motivation as design principles. Nautis expects you to know roughly what a runway number or a data room is for.

Where Nautis earns its place, and the price of that

Nautis fits when the work is keeping many records straight among several people. Investor pipeline, invoices that go out and get chased, expenses with receipts, job postings, salary slips, document signing and a credentials vault all sit in one place with role-based permissions. On the Vora IQ pages we read, invoices, employee records and an investor pipeline are not listed.

The cost is real. Its Product Hunt launch was only in July 2026, so outside reviews are scarce. It has no $0 entry, only the trial. Because it covers so many functions, a dedicated tool goes deeper in any single one. Its default of Ask every time means someone has to sit down and review approvals. And apart from that deck check, none of it will tell you whether your idea is any good, so if that's your actual question, this is the wrong product for now. For founders still at that point, our notes for first-time founders cover what to do before buying any software.

Which one should you start with?

  • Start with Vora IQ if you haven't registered a company, have no paying customers, and want to find out whether the idea deserves a year of your life.
  • Start with Nautis if you have a team, a pipeline or a round to manage, and the founder is the only person who can see all of it. The startup operating system guide describes that setup.
  • Move from one to the other if you begin at idea stage and reach your first hires or first investor meeting. Vora IQ's about page says you can request a full export, so ask for one before you switch.
  • Run them together only if you have a clear reason, such as using Vora IQ for validating a second product while Nautis runs the main company.

FAQ

What is the main difference in Nautis vs Vora IQ?

Vora IQ is built to take a founder from an idea to a launched business, starting with an idea score, a roadmap and a website. Nautis is built to run a startup that already exists, holding its fundraising, finance, sales and team records with an AI Chief of Staff on top.

How much does Vora IQ cost?

As of October 2026, its site shows a holiday sale of $40 a month or $200 a year through December 31, locked in while you stay subscribed. The yearly plan is shown as $17 a month against a regular $35. The first two Idea Report Cards cost nothing and need no card, and there is a 14-day money-back guarantee.

Does Vora IQ limit AI usage?

Its pricing page says there are no credits or token meters, with one stated exception. Apollo's live lead sourcing is capped at 5 searches a day. Nautis works differently, with 1,000, 2,000 or 2,600 AI credits a month depending on the plan.

Can Nautis validate a startup idea?

Not in the way Vora IQ does. Nautis has SWOT analysis, business plans and a startup journey tracker, which help you organize your thinking. Its deck analyzer has an Idea Validation tab that tests market, demand signals and risks from a deck you've made, but it won't score a bare idea the way Vora IQ does. Use something built for validation first, then come to Nautis once you have a company to run.

Is Nautis or Vora IQ better for a team of 10?

Nautis publishes clear member limits, with Voyage covering 10 people at $99 a month, along with roles and permissions. The Vora IQ pages we read don't state seat counts, so ask them directly if several people need their own logins.
