Nautis vs Sintra: a team of AI helpers, or a workspace for the startup

Nautis vs Sintra for a small company: helpers that produce marketing and admin work, or a workspace for startup operations. Prices and fit, side by side.

By Baltej Singh, founder of Nautis · Updated Oct 31, 2026

Summarise

Sintra sells you staff. You get Soshie for social media, Penn for copywriting, Milli for sales, and nine others, each a chat persona with a job title. Nautis sells you a workspace with an AI Chief of Staff that reads the records inside it.

These are different purchases for different people, though both show up when someone searches for AI to run a business. Sintra's prices are unusual enough that it makes sense to start there.

What you actually pay as of October 2026

Sintra's help article on plans is clearer than its pricing page, so read that one before buying. The Sintra X plan with all 12 helpers costs $48.50 for one month, $70.80 upfront for three months, or $187 upfront for twelve. The pricing page displays these as $48.50, $23.60 and $15.60 a month with discount labels of 50% to 70%, and it still lists individual helpers at $39 each, even though the help article says individual plans are no longer sold. VAT is added at checkout, and app store prices differ.

Nautis Fleet$129 monthly or $1,290 yearly$129 or $107.502,600 credits, 25 team membersSame

Two points deserve attention. Sintra's longer terms don't give you more credits at once, since 250 credits reset monthly either way, and the page doesn't define the advanced AI actions that use them. You also can't compare 250 with 1,000, because each company counts credits differently. Nautis measures tokens and audio. Also, canceling Sintra doesn't refund you automatically: you have to ask within the 14 days, and top-ups aren't refundable. See Nautis plans for regional pricing.

Helpers and modules, role by role

A role-by-role view shows where they overlap and where they part. Sintra's roles come from its homepage. Sintra's helpers mainly produce output in chat and through integrations. Nautis's modules mainly hold the record of the work, with AI assisting on top.

If most of your rows are in the top half, Sintra covers more of what you do. If they're in the bottom half, you're running a venture-style startup and Nautis was built with you in mind. One caution on Sintra's connections: its pricing page says 15+ integrations, its help center 960+ apps and its homepage 1000+ tools, so check the specific ones you rely on.

Two companies, one week each

These two hypothetical companies show the split better than any feature list.

A two-person ecommerce brand

Monday you need a week of Instagram posts for a sale. Tuesday you want product descriptions rewritten and a promotional email. Thursday you answer returns questions. None of this involves investors, and the company's real records live in the store platform. Sintra's helpers map onto almost every line, and its Brain AI lets you upload your brand and product files once. At $15.60 to $48.50 a month, it's cheap enough to try, and it would be odd to pay more for fundraising modules you won't open.

A pre-seed fintech raising $500k

Monday you update 15 investor conversations. Tuesday you check the monthly burn number before an investor call, then share the deck through a data room. Wednesday a pilot customer's invoice is late. Thursday you need to know what's blocking the raise. Here the work is record-keeping and follow-through across functions, and the Fundraising CRM and Outcome Workflows fit it. Sintra could draft your investor email well enough, but its pages don't describe a pipeline of deals or a runway view.

Who decides what gets sent?

The published detail differs more than the intent. Sintra says you can set priorities, guidelines and approval levels, and its homepage also says helpers don't need supervision once onboarded. Its help center describes background automations and recurring tasks that can run as often as every 10 minutes. The pages we read don't spell out which actions wait for approval, so ask before connecting an account that can post or send.

Nautis spells this out. Agent capabilities default to Ask every time, and requests wait in the Approval Center showing exactly what would be sent. Owners and admins approve them, or can set a capability to Run without asking, and each action is audit-logged. The cost of that caution is attention: if you ignore the queue, nothing moves, and unattended requests expire.

Nautis vs Sintra: where each is stronger

Sintra does better on

  • Price for a single owner, especially on the 12-month term.
  • Content and marketing output, with dedicated SEO, ecommerce and email marketing roles.
  • A website builder, and 100+ languages listed on its pricing page.
  • A marketplace of community-made helpers, plus custom ones.
  • Running many brands: its help center describes separate workspaces, up to 20.

Nautis does better on

  • Company records with permissions, such as deals, invoices, leads and employee data.
  • Fundraising tools from investor search through to a data room.
  • A daily briefing that ranks what changed across functions without being asked.
  • A published approval process with an audit log, and team roles that limit what each person and advisor can do.

Where Nautis falls short for this reader

  • It costs at least $49 a month after the trial, with no free tier on offer, so for a marketing-only need it's the more expensive and less suitable tool.
  • It has no SEO, ecommerce or customer support persona in its guides, and it isn't the place to run bulk email campaigns.
  • It launched publicly in July 2026 and has few independent reviews, so you'd be judging it mostly on your own trial.
  • It needs data before it helps. A new workspace gives a thin briefing until tasks, pipeline and a Startup Health check-in are in place.
  • It's built for startups, and a local service business or online shop will find much of it irrelevant.

Should you choose Sintra or Nautis?

Choose Sintra if you own a small business, your bottleneck is producing marketing and admin work, and investors aren't part of the picture. Start with one month, not twelve, and test your two most-used helpers, because a 12-month price only helps if you're still using it in month four.

Choose Nautis if you're building a startup, and if the things you're afraid of forgetting are investor follow-ups, runway and who owes what. Read what an AI chief of staff is meant to do to check it matches what you're after.

If you're unsure, look at the other Sintra options, since several alternatives sit between these two.

FAQ

Is Sintra or Nautis better for a bootstrapped startup?

It depends on whether your main need is output or operations. A bootstrapped founder mostly creating content will get more from Sintra at $15.60 to $48.50 a month as of October 2026. One who also tracks invoices, pipeline and runway may prefer Nautis for bootstrapped startups, starting at $49 a month.

How much does Sintra really cost?

As of October 2026, Sintra's help center lists $48.50 for one month, $70.80 upfront for three months and $187 upfront for twelve months, plus VAT at checkout. Each includes all 12 helpers and 250 credits a month. Its pricing page shows the same offer as a monthly figure with discount labels.

Does Sintra have a CRM?

Its help center says Brain AI stores a lightweight built-in CRM along with files, your Brand Kit and memory. Nautis has separate modules for sales leads and for investor deals, each with pipelines and stages. If you need a pipeline your whole team works in, compare those two directly during a trial.

Do Sintra helpers work on their own?

Partly. Sintra's help center describes automations and recurring tasks running in the background, while you define the tasks, schedules and triggers. Its homepage mentions approval levels, but the pages read in October 2026 don't say which actions require approval. Check that before you connect accounts that can post or send.
