This page covers StartupOS at ai-startup.app, which calls itself the founder's decision workspace. It isn't startupos.com, which showed only a sign-in page when we checked. We read its homepage and privacy page in October 2026. The privacy page, updated 26 October 2026, describes a test release and lists details to finalize before commercial launch, including seller identity and privacy contact, so expect details to change.
What StartupOS publishes
You add company context, such as mission, stage, financials, goals, brand and audience. You then ask a specialist a question, or run a board debate to see financial, growth and technical trade-offs. Conclusions, decisions and plans stay in the same workspace. Its modules include financial tools for unit economics, cash runway, revenue scenarios and fundraising preparation, a Brand HQ with social drafts and AI-generated visuals, milestones, founder check-ins and hiring plans.
One detail stands out: you can run AI on workspace credits, on your own OpenRouter key, or export a company brief to ChatGPT or Codex and bring the results back. The privacy page names Lovable AI or OpenRouter for AI actions, and Perplexity for live research when configured.

StartupOS says there are no automatic overages, credits don't roll over, and you can cancel at any time. Nautis has a 14-day trial with no card and no free tier. For one person, StartupOS Explore and Founder list lower than Nautis Launch.
Where they overlap, and where they part
Advice is the overlap. Nautis has an AI Advisory Board, where advisors such as Anchor for finance and Keel for startup legal consult each other and a board room seats 2 to 6. That's close to a StartupOS board debate.
They part on what happens next. Nautis connects email and calendar, and its Chief of Staff briefs you at 7:00 am from tasks, pipeline, runway and overdue invoices, then proposes actions you approve. It also has an investor directory, a fundraising CRM, data rooms, a Leads CRM and employee records. We didn't see those, or agents acting in connected apps, on the StartupOS homepage. The product may add them, but we can only report what we read.
When to choose each
- Choose StartupOS if you work alone, mostly want a sounding board for decisions, and like the option of using your own model key. The $0 plan and sample workspace let you judge the quality of its advice before paying.
- Choose Nautis if you're raising, have people on the team, or want something that watches runway and invoices without being asked. See Nautis for solo founders for how the Launch plan fits one person.
- Ask StartupOS first if your company needs a named supplier on invoices or contracts, since its privacy page lists that among the details to come.
Nautis's limits in this comparison
Nautis costs more for a solo founder, and it has no $0 plan to keep after the trial. It publicly launched on Product Hunt in July 2026, so independent reviews are few. Its breadth is wasted on someone who only wants advice, and with an empty workspace the briefing has little to say. Asking every time by default also means reviews to clear. If you only want a second opinion, a general assistant could also do, as Nautis vs ChatGPT discusses.
