Summarise

This page compares Nautis with Company OS by We Are Human, the Stockholm-built product at the-company-os.com. It doesn't cover the general phrase "company OS", which newsletters and blogs use for any internal operating system.

Of the products that get listed beside Nautis, this is one of the closest on paper. Both replace a stack of subscriptions, both start at 49 a month in their own currency, both name a Chief of Staff. The difference sits in who does the work and which functions get the most attention. Company OS details come from its own pages and from the plan text in its site's script, read in October 2026.

Who does the work in each product?

Company OS gives you staff. Nautis gives you a briefing and specialists you call on. That choice shapes your day more than any feature list.

Its FAQ says you start with 10 agents: a Chief of Staff and a lead for strategy, sales, marketing, product, brand, operations, finance, people and tech. Every week they suggest jobs, such as filling a gap or drafting a plan. You approve, they do it, and the result lands in company memory. Anything that sends, spends money or deletes waits for your approval. Its agents page describes three autonomy modes (suggest, confirm and autonomous), plus decision tickets that go to The Control Center when risk crosses a threshold.

Nautis starts from your records instead. At 7:00 am the Chief of Staff scans tasks, pipeline, runway, meetings, overdue invoices and fundraising signals, then groups what it found as Priorities, Blockers, Approvals, Pipeline, Today and Runway. You press Do it on an item, ask Commodore, or snooze it. Custom advisors and routines add more hands, but no one is sitting in a marketing seat proposing a campaign each week. If you want that, Company OS is closer to it.

What you pay as of October 2026

Company OS prices in euros and Nautis in US dollars, so don't read 49 against 49 as equal. Yearly plans on both give two months free.

List prices, billed monthly or once a year. Company OS Launch and Scale are shown as one price for the seats listed, and its pricing FAQ gives Start per seat. Nautis plans are flat for the team. Credits are each vendor's own unit, and we have no way to compare one against the other

Nautis Voyage$99$9902,00010 members
Nautis Fleet$129$1,2902,60025 members

The site shows two yearly figures for Start. The plain text on the Company OS pricing page says €49 per seat a month or €499 a year, while the plan data in the site's script and its FAQ say €490 a year. Enterprise has custom pricing through its contact page. Its pricing FAQ also says single tools start at €5 per seat a month and that startups and nonprofits can ask about special pricing, and its homepage copy says the launch price is locked in for the first 100 companies.

Seats drive the real gap. A team of six fits inside Nautis Voyage at $99. On Company OS, the pages we read don't say whether Launch can take a fourth seat, so six people may mean six seats on Start at €49 (€294), or the €499 Scale plan. Past 25 people the sums flip, because Nautis startup plans stop there and Scale has no seat limit.

Company OS also lets you try the agents without paying and without a time limit. Nautis offers a 14-day trial with no card, then a paid plan, and has no free tier.

A six-person company with one foot in client work

Say a Stockholm studio of six earns its money from software projects while building a product on the side. It sends quotes, signs contracts, tracks hours, invoices through Fortnox, and has started talking to angels about the product.

Company OS maps onto most of that week. A deal moves from The Clients into a quote, a contract, a project and then an invoice, and invoices sync to the accountant's Fortnox. Agents can draft the proposals and chase unpaid bills once approved. The Swedish pages and Nordic accounting links suggest this is home ground for the product.

Nautis has more for the angel conversations on its published pages. Find Investors filters by stage, sector, geography and check size, a promising name goes into the fundraising CRM, and Investor Readiness scores deck, data room, financials and traction against the round you plan to raise. The quoting and hours side would need another tool, and we didn't check whether Fortnox appears in the Nautis integration catalog, so check it yourself if that link matters.

Our read for this studio: Company OS, unless the raise becomes the main job of the next six months.

Where Company OS comes out ahead

  • Agents across departments. A named lead for each function, proposing work unprompted, goes further than anything Nautis describes. Nautis has no marketing or sales agent that starts its own jobs each week.
  • Service-business plumbing. Quotes, a client portal, time tracking, bookings and inventory appear in its app list. These aren't in the Nautis module list.
  • OKRs. The Strategy holds objectives, key results and quarterly cycles, and projects can tag the OKR they advance. Nautis has no OKR method built in.
  • Getting started for nothing. Typing a website produces a scored analysis of 9 areas in about 30 seconds, with no card.
  • Several companies on one account. Its FAQ says one account can hold as many companies as you like, each with its own agents, goals and memory.
  • Bring your own AI key. You can run agent work on your own account with a model provider.

Where Nautis comes out ahead, and its limits

Nautis publishes more on raising money. Company OS says investors can sit in the same CRM as leads, and that goals and board updates live together, so a data room isn't a two-week project. We didn't find an investor directory, match scores, a deck analyzer or a voice coach on the pages we read. Nautis has all four, plus a cap table on its two larger plans that handles SAFEs, convertible notes and round modelling.

It also watches the company on a daily clock. The briefing arrives each morning without anyone asking, and it treats runway and overdue invoices as first-class items. For a founder who tends to find out about cash problems late, that morning habit may be worth more than extra agents. See what an AI Chief of Staff can't do before you expect too much from either.

Now the limits. Nautis reached Product Hunt only in July 2026, so outside reviews are scarce, though Company OS is early too: its own copy invites people to join the first 100 founders. With Ask every time as the default, each approval needs a person's attention. AI credits are capped and sending stops when they run out. A company of 30 won't fit a startup plan, and no plan teaches a management framework.

Which should you trial first?

  • Start with Company OS if you bill clients, want department agents more than you want a daily digest, work in the Nordics with Fortnox, Visma or Wint, or want a look at no cost.
  • Start with Nautis if the next round is on your calendar, you have four to 25 people and want a flat price, or you run from a single view of runway and pipeline.
  • Run the same test on both. Give each one your website, then ask for the three things most at risk this month. See which answer uses your real numbers and how many clicks it takes to act on one.

If neither feels right, our grouping of all-in-one startup software by job covers other shapes of the same idea.
