Summarise

This page compares Nautis with Byblos AI, the AI co-founder at byblosai.app made by StartMeUp.AI, whose operating company is Start Me Up AI Ltd in London. The byblos.ai site shares the name and shows only a language selector and a contact address, so it isn't covered here.

Both vendors would say they help a founder get more done with AI. In practice the jobs barely overlap until a company reaches its first launch. The Byblos AI details below come from its own pages, read in October 2026. Its pricing page says prices were last updated on 21 October 2026, and that every paid plan is in beta.

Where the two products stop

Byblos AI stops at planning, brand and marketing. It says so plainly: it plans, brands and markets your product, but doesn't write the code. Its Product Manager page adds that it doesn't replace customer validation, since you conduct the interviews yourself. Website Manager is listed as coming soon. If you want code, a separate one-time Production Foundation codebase is available by request for $5,900 and includes 3 months of Pro.

Nautis stops short of the launch itself. Its guides and app show no logo generator, PRD workflow or campaign image generation, though you can ask its chat to draft a document. They do describe the machinery that keeps a company going afterwards: Startup Health for runway, invoices and expenses, a Leads CRM, an investor directory, a fundraising CRM, data rooms, employee management with pay runs, and a daily briefing across all of it.

Byblos AI's pricing table lists an Investor Deck in the Product Manager workflow. We didn't find an investor directory, a fundraising CRM, a cap table, runway tracking or team pay on the pages we read. Those functions may simply not be its job, and that's the point of this comparison: a startup at week two and a startup at month eighteen have different problems.

What does Byblos AI cost compared with Nautis?

Byblos AI starts at $0 and has a cheaper paid entry, and Nautis has flat team plans with no free tier. Credits on the two products aren't comparable, since each vendor defines its own unit.

List prices billed monthly as of October 2026. Byblos AI yearly billing saves 20%. Nautis yearly plans give 2 months free.
PlanMonthlyProjects or membersCredits a month
Byblos AI Free$0, no card1 project, 1 member120 per project
Byblos AI Launch$391 project, unlimited members3,460 per project
Byblos AI Grow (beta)Not listed, by request1 project, unlimited members8,890 per project
Byblos AI Pro (beta)$290, by request3 projects, unlimited members6,010 per project
Nautis Launch$495 members1,000
Nautis Voyage$9910 members2,000
Nautis Fleet$12925 members2,600

On Byblos AI, each action shows its credit cost before it runs, and pools reset on the first of the month. When a pool runs out, text work carries on in an Economy mode. In Nautis, sending is blocked until credits reset or you top up, which is the stricter behaviour. Unlimited members per project is generous for a marketing team, and Nautis caps people by plan.

Nautis offers a 14-day trial with no card, then a paid plan. Byblos AI says it has no trial, and its $0 plan has no time limit.

Approval works the same way, with a different grain

Both ask before anything goes out. Byblos AI has you review and approve each step of a chain: the kickoff summary, then research, then the plan. Nothing publishes on LinkedIn, X or Instagram until you've approved it. That makes the checks part of how the work moves forward.

Nautis puts a card in its Approval Center for each thing an agent wants to do, showing what would be sent or changed, and owners or admins approve. Agent Autonomy lets them set a capability to Run without asking, where every action is logged and can be undone within 10 minutes where supported. Deleting always asks. A non-technical founder at week two

Say a first-time founder has a clinic scheduling idea, no brand and no developer. She wants to know whether the market exists and what to tell a contractor to build.

Byblos AI suits this well. The Product Manager interviews her, returns research with citations, and drafts a PRD with must, should and could priorities on the $0 plan. Upgrading to Launch at $39 opens the roadmap, assumption testing, full brand work and a campaign. Each output gets a confidence rating, and that's useful when you can't yet tell a solid assumption from a hopeful one. Nautis would hold her notes and tasks, but has no PRD workflow, and she'd pay $49 after the trial for modules she can't use yet.

Fast-forward a year. She has seven staff, a seed round to close, and an investor asking for the data room by Friday. Now the Byblos AI project is one part of the company. Investor readiness, a data room, a cap table on Voyage and the morning runway check become the daily work, and that's the moment Nautis starts to fit.

Reasons to choose Byblos AI

  • You're before launch. Research, positioning, PRD and brand are the work, and it's built to take you through them in order.
  • You want to start at $0. A plan with no time limit and no card lets you see real output first.
  • You'll pair it with coding tools. Coding agents connected by MCP can build from the same PRD and roadmap, and Co-CTO opens GitHub issues on Grow and Pro.
  • You need a brand from nothing. Nautis stores a brand. Byblos AI creates one.
  • You run a cohort. Accelerators and incubators can enrol cohorts, with the founder's consent, on a custom programme.

Reasons to choose Nautis, and its limits

  • You're raising. An investor directory, a fundraising CRM, a deck analyzer, an AI voice coach and data rooms sit together. Compare Nautis vs Visible if investor updates are the main need.
  • You have staff and cash to watch. Runway, invoices, expenses, pay runs and burnout check-ins feed one list.
  • You want a morning brief, not a project. The briefing arrives at 7:00 am in your timezone without a prompt.
  • You connect many apps. The catalog lists 1,000+ tools, each enabled for agents as a separate step.

The honest limits: Nautis is young, having launched on Product Hunt in July 2026, with few independent reviews. It has no free tier. It has no logo generator or PRD workflow. It covers many functions at less depth than a specialist tool, and it isn't an accounting system. A new workspace also gives a thin briefing, since sources with no data are skipped. For a founder at the idea stage, those are good reasons to wait.

FAQ

Who should choose in Nautis vs Byblos AI?

Choose Byblos AI if you're shaping a new product and need research, a PRD, a brand and launch posts. Choose Nautis if you run a company day to day and need fundraising tools, runway tracking and a team workspace with a morning briefing.

Who makes Byblos AI?

Its site says Byblos AI is a product of StartMeUp.AI, operated by Start Me Up AI Ltd in London. It is a different thing from the byblos.ai site, which showed only a language selector and a contact address in October 2026.

Does Byblos AI write code?

No. Its pages say it plans, brands and markets a product without writing the code. Co-CTO, in private beta, turns a roadmap into technical decisions and GitHub issues for a developer or coding agent, and reviews returning pull requests.

How much does Byblos AI cost?

As of October 2026 there's a $0 plan with 120 credits, Launch at $39 a month with 3,460 credits, and Pro at $290 a month by request. Grow's price isn't listed. Its pricing page says every paid plan is in beta.

Does Nautis help with branding like Byblos AI?

Nautis has a brand kit for storing brand details and a social calendar for planning and approving posts. Its guides don't describe creating a logo or a full brand system from scratch, so a founder starting from nothing would need another tool for that.
