Video Pitches

1. Click Create Video on the videos list page.
2. A modal opens asking you to pick a pitch category (for example, Fundraising Pitch or Sales Pitch). Each category sets the minimum and maximum number of topics and a maximum total video length.
3. Click the category card you want. You're taken to the Create Pitch page.

Step 1: name the video

• Video Name (required) — for example, Seed Round Pitch v2.
• Description — optional, up to 500 characters.

Step 2: choose your topics

• Click any topic card on the left to add it to your video. Each topic has a built-in time limit in seconds.
• Some topics are pre-filled by default for the category. You can remove any you don't want.
• Click Add your own topic to make a custom one. Give it a Topic Name, an optional Description, and a Time Limit between 1 and 600 seconds (10 minutes max).

The Video Storyboard panel on the right updates live. Drag topics by the grip handle to reorder them. The handle is the small dots icon on the left of each topic row.

Watch the constraints at the bottom of the storyboard — topics used out of allowed, current duration vs the category's max duration. If you go over, the count turns red.

3. When you're happy, click Save and Proceed.

You go straight to the editor, ready to record.

1. The editor has your topics on the left, a video preview in the middle, and tools on the right.
2. Click a topic to select it.
3. Optional: write a Teleprompter Script in the script area. While recording, you'll see it scroll on screen.
4. Click the camera/record control. Nautis asks for camera and microphone access — allow both.
5. A short countdown plays, then recording starts. The teleprompter scrolls and the topic's time limit counts down.
6. Click stop to finish. The clip plays back so you can review it.
7. If you don't like it, click the re-record control to redo just that topic. Your other topics stay intact.
8. Move to the next topic and repeat.

You can also upload an existing video clip for a topic instead of recording, using the upload control on that topic.

While editing, you can layer extra elements on top of the recorded clips:

• Graphics — add an image overlay or a text overlay at a specific time range. For each graphic, set a Start Time and End Time (in seconds from the start of the compiled video). Upload an image, or pick text and type the wording.
• Call to Action (CTA) — turn on the CTA toggle to attach a button to the end of your video. Set the Title, Description, Button Text, and a Button Link (must be a full URL).

Switch the CTA or graphics toggles off at any time to hide them without losing the configuration.

1. When every topic is recorded, click Compile Video (the big primary action).
2. Nautis stitches your topic clips, adds graphics and CTA, and renders one final video. The status changes to Compiling and a progress indicator appears.
3. Compilation runs in the background — you can leave the page and come back. Nautis will refresh the status periodically.
4. When it finishes, the status flips to Completed and the final video plays inline.

If compilation fails, the status shows Error and you can click Compile Video again after fixing the cause (most often a topic that wasn't recorded).

1. From the videos list, click a video to open its watch page.
2. The compiled video plays at the top with bookmarks for each topic — click a topic title to jump straight to that section.
3. The right column shows the description, who created it, the organization, the topic count, and analytics: Views, Feedbacks, and CTA Clicks.
4. Below the player, tabs for Invitations (people you've invited to view) and Feedback (comments left on the video).
5. Click Edit Video to go back into the editor.

1. Click Share on the video watch page (or the editor).
2. The Share video dialog opens with:
   • Direct Link — a short URL pointing at your video. Click Copy Link.
   • Embed Code — an <iframe> tag you can paste into a website or landing page. Click Copy Code.
   • LinkedIn and Facebook buttons — opens the share dialog of each platform with the link prefilled.

Anyone with the direct link can watch the video.
