Events

What it does

Events is a curated directory of upcoming conferences, accelerators, pitch competitions, and networking opportunities for founders. Browse the list, open an event for full details, then jump to the organizer's site to apply or register.

Who can use it

Anyone on your organization with read access to Events. If your role does not have access, you will see a message telling you to ask an admin.

Where to find it

From the sidebar, open Resources & Learning and click Events.

Step by step

Browsing events

  1. The directory loads with every available event shown as a card.
  2. Pick a sort tab at the top of the list:
    • Featured — highlighted events first, then by start date.
    • Upcoming — soonest events first.
    • Deadline Soon — events with the closest application deadlines.
    • Recent — newest additions to the directory.
  3. Use the toggle in the top-right to switch between Grid and List view.
  4. Each card shows the event title, date range, country, organizer, an event-type tag, industries, and a status badge (for example Applications Open or Closed).
  5. Click Refresh in the top-right if you want to pull the latest list from the server.
Step by step

Filtering events

  1. Open the filter panel on the left. On mobile, tap Filters in the header to slide it open.
  2. Use Search Events to find events by title, organizer, or keywords in the description.
  3. Pick an Event Type to narrow by format (for example accelerator, conference, hackathon).
  4. Pick an Industry to show only events relevant to that sector.
  5. Pick a Country to filter by location.
  6. The result count updates at the top of the list. A pill row shows your active filters — click the x on any pill to remove just that filter.
  7. Click Clear All Filters (or the Clear filters link above the list) to reset.

Opening event details

  1. Click any event card. A details panel slides in from the right.
  2. The header shows the event title, dates, country, organizer, status, and an event-type tag.
  3. The About section has the full description provided by the organizer.
  4. The Industries card lists every sector the event covers.
  5. The Key Dates card lays out the event dates, the application open date (if any), and the application deadline. If a deadline is close, you will see a N days left badge.
  6. The Organizer card shows who is running the event.
  7. The Performance card shows total views and clicks the listing has received.
  8. Close the panel with the Close button or the x in the top-right.
Step by step

Applying or visiting the event site

  1. Open an event's details panel.
  2. Look at the button in the footer:
    • Apply Now appears when applications are open. Click it to open the organizer's application page in a new tab.
    • Visit Event appears when there is no formal deadline. Click it to open the organizer's site.
    • Applications Closed appears when the deadline has passed. The button is disabled.
  3. Your click is recorded so the organizer can see how popular the listing is — no personal data is shared with them through this click.

Sharing an event

When you open an event, the URL in your address bar updates with the event's ID. Copy that URL and paste it into chat or email to send someone straight to the same event details panel. Anyone in your organization with access to Events will be able to open it.

Tips & limits

  • Events with a yellow Featured badge are the ones the Nautis team is currently highlighting.
  • The orange Deadline badge on a card shows the next important date, so you can spot urgent items at a glance.
  • Sort by Deadline Soon before applying season to surface anything you might miss.
  • Sorting and filters are applied locally, so changing them feels instant once the list has loaded.

Frequently asked questions

Can I RSVP to an event inside Nautis?

No. Nautis lists events and links you out to each organizer's own registration or application page. Sign-ups, ticket purchases, and confirmations happen on their site.

Can I add an event to my calendar?

There is no one-click calendar export in the events directory yet. The simplest workaround is to copy the dates from the event details panel into your calendar app manually.

Where do these events come from?

The Nautis team curates the list. If you would like to suggest an event for the directory, contact support.

I cannot see Events in my sidebar — why?

Either your organization admin has not enabled the feature for your workspace, or your role does not have read permission. Ask an admin to give you access to the Events module.

An event shows "Applications Closed" but I think it is still open. What should I do?

Click Visit Event if it appears, or go directly to the organizer's website. The deadline date on the listing is the one the organizer published — if they have extended it, the directory may not be updated yet.
