Jobs & Recruitment

5 min readUpdated

What it does

Lets you create job postings, publish them on your public careers page, and manage everyone who applies — from first application all the way to offer and hire. AI can help you write the job description in seconds.

Who can use it

  • Founders and anyone with Jobs permissions in their organization.
  • Read-only members can browse jobs and applications but can't post new roles or change candidate stages.
  • Public job seekers can view your live jobs and apply through your careers page without a Nautis account.

Where to find it

From the sidebar, open Human Resources and click Jobs & Recruitment.

Step by step

Create and publish a job posting

  1. On the jobs dashboard, click Create New in the top-right.
  2. The job creation page opens with several sections. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.
  3. Under Basic Information:
    • Enter the Job Title (e.g. Senior Software Engineer).
    • Write a Job Description, or click the Generate button next to the field to have AI draft one for you based on the title, type, and skills.
    • Set Number of Positions, Experience Level, and the Minimum / Maximum experience years.
  4. Under Job Details:
    • Pick the Job Type (Full time, Part time, Contract, Internship, etc.).
    • Pick the Workplace Type (On-site, Remote, Hybrid).
    • Pick the Industry.
    • Optionally set an Application Deadline.
  5. Under Required Skills, search and add the skills you need. Type a new one to add a custom skill if it isn't in the list.
  6. Under Compensation, enter the yearly Minimum Salary and Maximum Salary, plus the Currency. If you'd rather keep numbers private, toggle Hide salary package — candidates won't see the range on the careers page.
  7. Under Attachment (optional), drag in a PDF or Word file with extra details.
  8. Click Publish to make the role live, or click Save as draft if you want to come back later.
  9. Once published, the role appears in the Published count and shows up on your public careers page.
Step by step

Share your jobs publicly

  1. From the jobs dashboard, click Copy Link to copy your careers page URL to the clipboard — you can paste it into your website, email, or LinkedIn.
  2. Click Careers Page to open the public page in a new tab and see exactly what candidates will see.
  3. Anyone with the link can browse all your Published roles and apply through a form on each job's detail page. They don't need a Nautis account.
Step by step

View applications and the candidate pipeline

  1. On the jobs dashboard, click the eye icon on a job row to open its detail view.
  2. From the job detail view, click Applications (or open the Applications tab) to see everyone who has applied.
  3. By default you see a kanban-style board with six columns — each one is a stage in your hiring pipeline:
    • Applied — fresh applications.
    • Screening — you've reviewed and want to look closer.
    • Interview — moved to interview round.
    • Offer — you've extended or are preparing an offer.
    • Hired — they accepted and joined.
    • Rejected — not moving forward.
  4. Drag a candidate card from one column to the next to update their stage. You can also click a card and use Update status to do it from a dialog.
  5. Click any card to open the application details — resume, cover letter, contact info, and any notes your team has left.
Step by step

Move a candidate forward

  1. Open the candidate card. Use the side panel to add Notes for your team.
  2. Switch to the Interviews tab on the job to schedule rounds: click Schedule Interview, pick the date, time, panel, and round.
  3. After the interview, the panellist can record Feedback from the same card.
  4. When you're ready, drag the candidate into Offer — Nautis prompts you to send a formal offer through the Send Offer dialog.
  5. Once they accept and you drag them to Hired, Nautis offers to Convert to employee. Confirm the basic details and they're added straight to HR Management with their info pre-filled.
Step by step

Edit, archive, or unpublish a job

  1. On the jobs dashboard, find the job row.
  2. Click the pencil icon to edit it. The form opens pre-filled — change anything and click Save.
  3. To take a role down without deleting it, click the archive icon and pick a reason (filled, paused, etc.). Archived jobs disappear from your careers page but stay searchable under the Unpublished tab.
  4. To restore an archived job, switch to the Unpublished tab and click Restore.
Step by step

Review job analytics

  1. On the jobs dashboard, click the analytics icon on a job row, or visit Jobs Analytics from the header.
  2. You'll see views, application counts, conversion rates by stage, and trends over time. Use this to spot listings that aren't attracting candidates.

Tips & limits

  • Save a draft when you're still iterating — only Published jobs appear on your public careers page.
  • The Generate button in the description field uses your organization's AI credits. If you run out, the description input still works as a normal text editor.
  • Custom skills you type into the skill picker get saved for next time, so your skill library grows as you hire.
  • Setting an Application Deadline auto-closes the job on that date — useful for time-bound campaigns.
  • Each new application sends a notification to your team so you don't miss a candidate.

Frequently asked questions

Where does my careers page live?

It's at nautis.app/careers/your-organization-slug. Click Copy Link on the jobs dashboard to grab the exact URL. You can also link directly to a job's apply page.

Can I require a cover letter or extra questions?

The default application form asks for name, email, phone, resume, and a cover letter. There aren't custom screening questions yet.

Why can't I click "Create New"?

Either you don't have permission on this organization, or your email isn't verified. Verify your email under Account Settings > Profile, then refresh.

Can I move a candidate back to an earlier stage?

Yes — drag them in either direction. If you drag them out of Offer or Hired, Nautis confirms before changing the stage.

Does archiving a job notify candidates?

No — archiving just hides the role from your careers page. Candidates who already applied stay in the pipeline. Use Reject on individual candidates if you want to close them out.

Can I post the same job to multiple organizations?

Job postings live inside one organization. If you run more than one company on Nautis, switch the Organization picker at the top before clicking Create New.
