What it does
A private weekly wellness check-in for founders. You answer six quick questions about energy, stress, sleep, work intensity, decision fatigue, and context switching. Nautis turns those into a burnout risk score, watches the trend over time, and suggests small adjustments so you can spot a tough patch early — before it knocks you out.
Burnout Radar is a personal wellness tool, not a performance tracker. The numbers exist to help you take care of yourself; they're not for anyone to grade you on.
Who can use it
- Founders and team members with Burnout Radar permissions in their organization.
- Your check-ins are stored against your user account inside the organization. Your team's data isn't ranked or compared against yours.
- Each check-in takes about 30 seconds and only needs to happen once a week.
Where to find it
From the sidebar, open Health & Wellness and click Burnout Radar.
Take this week's check-in
- On the dashboard, click + Weekly Check-in in the top-right.
- The Weekly Founder Check-in dialog opens with this week's date and a progress bar.
- Rate each signal — use the rounded buttons 1 to 5 unless noted:
- Energy level — 1 = drained, 5 = charged.
- Stress level — 1 = calm, 5 = intense.
- Sleep quality — 1 = poor, 5 = restorative.
- Work intensity — pick your average work hours per day (6h, 8h, 10h, 12h, 14h, 16h, or 18h).
- Decision fatigue — 1 = sharp, 5 = exhausted.
- Context switching — 1 = focused, 5 = fragmented.
- (Optional) Under How are you feeling?, tap one of the mood chips — Drained, Stressed, Neutral, Focused, or Energized. Tap again to clear it.
- Click Save Check-in. Your dashboard refreshes with your new score and any updated trends.
You can come back and edit this week's check-in any time before the next one. Just click + Weekly Check-in again.
Understand your risk score
- The big number in the Your burnout risk this week gauge is your score from 0 to 100. Lower is better.
- The label below it tells you the band:
- Low risk — green. You're in a sustainable zone.
- Moderate risk — amber. Worth watching your pace this week.
- High risk — red. Strongly consider easing up.
- The arrow next to the score shows the change from last week's score (down is better).
- The What's affecting your risk card lists the top contributors driving your number — for example, Stress, Sleep, Decision load, Context switching, or Energy dip — with the per-week change for each.
- Early-warning alerts flag patterns Nautis has noticed across recent weeks. If it's quiet, you'll see All clear.
- If you've checked in a few weeks in a row, an AI Weekly Summary card explains the picture in plain language and adds a Recommendation for one concrete thing to try.
The score is built from your own answers — it isn't shared with anyone in your organization or used for any performance review.
Get a recovery plan
- On the dashboard, click View suggested adjustments under the contributors card.
- The panel suggests up to five small, specific changes (e.g. "Block a 45-minute no-meeting window to reset focus").
- If your risk is high or you want a more personalised plan, use the AI recovery playbook button — it generates a multi-day plan with titles, descriptions, and durations.
- The plan is saved with this week's check-in so you can reopen it later.
Review historical check-ins
- Scroll down the dashboard to the tab strip with History, Trend, and Journal.
- Open History to see every past check-in as a table with the week, score, risk band, mood, and individual signals.
- Open Trend to see your score plotted over the last eight weeks, with a 4-week rolling average so spikes are easier to read in context.
- The header also shows a streak badge once you've checked in for two or more weeks in a row — useful for building the habit.
Keep a private journal
- Open the Journal tab.
- Type a short note about how the week felt, what triggered stress, what helped.
- Click Save. Older entries appear below, oldest at the bottom.
- Nautis can summarise long entries with AI so you can scan them later.
Tips & limits
- Pick a regular time — Sunday evening or Monday morning works for many founders — and the routine becomes effortless.
- Be honest with the numbers. The trend is more useful than any single week, and undercounting just hides patterns from yourself.
- You can change your most recent answers if you realise you misjudged the week. Older weeks are locked in to keep the history honest.
- Some buttons (recovery playbooks, weekly summaries, journal AI summaries) use a small amount of your organization's AI credits. Standard check-ins do not.
- Use the Hide Intro Section button (top-right of the hero) once the dashboard feels familiar.
Frequently asked questions
Can my co-founder or team see my score?
No. Each member's check-ins are private to that person. The dashboard shows your data only.
Is this a performance review?
No — it's a wellness tool. Nobody is rated against the score, and nothing on Burnout Radar shows up in HR Management, reports, or anywhere else employee-facing.
What if I miss a week?
Nothing breaks — you just won't have a data point for that week. Take the next check-in whenever you're ready. Your streak resets, but your history stays intact.
Why did my score go up even though I rested?
The score weighs a few signals together. A great sleep week with very high decision load and context switching can still push the score up. Look at the What's affecting your risk card to see which signal moved the needle.
Can I delete a past check-in?
You can edit the most recent one. Older entries are kept to preserve the trend — reach out to support if you need one removed.
Why do I see "Get started" on my dashboard?
You haven't taken your first check-in yet. Click + Weekly Check-in to start — it takes about half a minute.
Can I export my check-in history?
Not directly today. You can scroll through the full History table on the dashboard, and the Trend chart covers the most recent eight weeks at a glance.
Does Burnout Radar work on mobile?
Yes. The dashboard adapts to smaller screens — the + Check-in button collapses to a short label, and signal buttons stay easy to tap with a thumb.
